When our minds are overactive, putting our hands to work can ease mental overload, reduce stress and interrupt negative thought patterns. Taking a moment to reset through drawing and hands on creating are beneficial when it comes to improving your mood and wellbeing.
This 3 hour workshop is open to all skill levels and all materials are provided. It is a fun and easy class exploring patterns, colour and design. Mandalas are a blueprint of your current mood and experience, capturing what ever emotions present during this almost meditative, drawing process. Please leave your expectation of perfection at the door, these are Messy Mandalas we will be creating!
What are the benefits of a drawing practice?
A practise, such as drawing or colouring mandalas, is an inner expression of oneself and allows you to free flow lines and beautiful designs sparking creativity, which reduces stress and anxiety. Activating both the analytical and creative parts of the brain, mandalas enhance problem solving and is a relaxing form of drawing.

Herbal teas will be provided on arrival, with candles and music to enhance the cosy experience in my creative space.
Bodhi is my Havanese dog and your welcoming committee. He takes his role very seriously, but if you are uncomfortable with dogs please let me know. He is a hypoallergenic fluff ball who will make you feel very welcomed.
